Happy Birthday to the MAMADOU Band!
The band's first gig was May 5, 1998. I didn't even join the band until July of 2000, but Mamadou Diop and Pavel Jirka were there as the original founders of what was then a band without a name, then "Mamadou Diop and the Jolole Band", and now simply "MAMADOU".
Time flies when you are having fun
